The view outside was a lovely bonus, and the place was so well cared for that you could tell the owners take pride in it. We were 8 adults and 4 kids and never felt cramped. There are four spacious bedrooms with king beds, two en-suites and another shared bathroom. The large living room has plenty of seating, the kitchen is well equipped, and every room has reverse cycle heating and cooling plus a radiant heater. We all loved our stay here in Mansfield.

Our little dog had a great time exploring the grounds, meeting the ducks and other wildlife. Rosedale House has friendly owners and excellent facilities, with everything you need for a country break, while shops and restaurants in the heart of Mansfield are only minutes away. It really captures what’s lovely about the area. What a wonderful place to stay, highly recommend it.

Linda and Keith made us feel welcome, even having the fireplace going when we arrived. Mornings came with beautiful country views and a boutique vineyard. This gorgeous country home in Mansfield has a private apartment attached, a large kitchen with everything we needed and an espresso machine for coffee lovers. It would be lovely for a weekend away or a ski trip up at Mt Buller.

Linda was a very accommodating host, and the accommodation was fantastic. We stayed at Rosehouse House for a weekend of skiing at Mt Buller. I’d happily come back and recommend Rosedale House to anyone staying in Mansfield for skiing or just a getaway.

Fresh sourdough, milk, butter, local condiments and cheese were waiting for us, which really added to the stay. The place was warm, cosy, neat and clean, with a very well-equipped kitchen. I’d strongly recommend Rosedale house if you’re looking for somewhere reasonably close to Mt Buller, roughly 20-30 minutes away, or other attractions in the region.
