The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to sort out a request we had, which we really appreciated. It's well situated and great value, and the rooms are spotless. It's a welcoming hotel with good facilities, including a handy guest kitchen since it's also a backpackers. Highly recommend.

Mansfield was a good base for riding Mt Bulla if you're not staying on the mountain, about a 45-minute drive away. My stay was comfortable and clean, and the host was really professional. It was very quiet when I was there in September.

We had a great time on our one-night family stay, with a group of eight. The room they gave us was comfortable, and the amenities were fresh and clean. I also want to mention how honest the owners and staff are. My partner left his gold watch under the pillow, and they called us so we could come back for it. It's a very sentimental gift to him, and I'm so grateful. Thank you for your kindness and honesty. We really appreciated the hospitality and highly recommend this lodge for a trip to Mansfield.
