Joseph, the host at Highton Manor hotel, was so attentive, and he's a genuine, passionate person with an amazing life story. I loved the French / Italian style of the upstairs suite where we stayed. Looking forward to coming back.

The rooms were small, smelly and not as described. I was charged twice for somebody else's room, and got excuses instead of an apology. Don't give them your credit card details. Not worth what I paid, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Awful experience. The room smelled bad and felt scary, and the service was terrible. There wasn't a towel in the room. The next day, even though we hadn't asked for or used any towels because we had our own, they accused us and charged $60 for three towels. Who would want to take those disgusting towels?

The owner personally welcomed us even though we arrived later than most guests, and the service was great. The rooms, though, are very basic and badly need a refurbishment.

We couldn't find the reception because the location was incorrect. When we asked, the lady said it was private property, and it isn't a motel.
