Mapleton Cabins & Caravan Park

We spent six weeks here in our van. The first couple of weeks were pretty unpleasant because we were parked in mud on a newly renovated site, but after we moved, the second site was immaculate and close to the toilet and amenities block. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the people in the park are very friendly. The amenities were spotless, and the park itself is beautiful. A must stay, you'll enjoy it.

Staff were helpful on site and over the phone, and the amenities were clean. Still, we left two days early because the site was disappointing. We'd been warned it was gravel, but it was also small, dark, shady, and cold, and we couldn't use our fire pit. The original site we'd been assigned would have meant staring at a large corrugated steel wall on the next cabin for the whole stay. At $55 a night, it felt quite pricey. This caravan park seems geared toward permanent or long-term residents.

Walking around, we could hear birds and babbling brooks running down one side through natural scrub, ferns, and palms. The park is surrounded by beautiful palms, ferns, and well-laid-out gardens. We parked on the smooth bitumen driveway and were greeted kindly by the friendly office staff. We enjoyed visiting the scenic spots Mapleton has to offer. It was a wonderful, peaceful retreat for us.

Such a beaut stay! The cabins were clean and comfy, and had lots of little extras, even mints on the pillows. The friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. They let us check out late for free, and when my husband joked about wine, they brought some over! Great value for money, I'd highly recommend it.
