Mapleton Falls Farm House

We came back to Hideaway for a second stay, and the rain didn't spoil things. The whole experience was good, though a couple of small maintenance jobs need attention. We didn't meet the hosts this time, but the directions for getting in were straightforward. On rainy days, a portable induction cooktop inside would be useful. Some information about the property and safety on site could be added too.

The cabins are modern, tidy, and well cared for, and the price is good even in peak season. We stayed two nights and would happily return next time we're in the area. Mapleton Falls walks are within walking distance, and other Sunshine Coast hinterland trails and waterfalls are an easy drive away. A great spot for a short stay, highly recommend.

I loved how quiet Staggy’s cottage was. I didn't hear the other guests, just birds and frogs, and the bed was very comfortable. After a day on the trails, the deep bath was so relaxing. The location is ideal for peace and quiet close to the National Park. Just be aware there are no laundry facilities.

Birdsong at sunrise was a lovely part of our stay, and the cabin was quiet, with no noticeable noise from the other cabins. Paradise cabin had everything we needed for a short visit, and its ramp access and safety rails in the wet areas made it very disability friendly. The walking trail entrance at Mapleton Falls National Park is the closest accommodation point. We also appreciated the quick, no-touch check-in and checkout, and it's an easy side trip to Kenilworth bakery.
