The location and staff were excellent. We stayed in a 3 bed room that was clean, but it backed onto the bike shop, and the bikers were noisy in the morning. The facilities were adequate, though it needed a sink for washing cups and dishes. Washing them in the bathroom sink wasn't great.

Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable place in a handy central spot. After walking your 100kms!! for the day, the garden is a nice place to sit and read or ponder. Traffic noise could bother some people, headphones come in handy. Good for solo travellers, and I'll definitely stay again.

The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the location is perfect for town, just a 3-4mins walk to everything you need. You're also right by the river for a short stroll, or you can drive 20min to the national park for a beach walk. The highway noise was constant from 5am to 10pm, with no breaks. It's a real pity, because there's a lovely little rose garden to sit in, but it's only 20meters from the highway and the road noise makes it hard to use. If you sleep soundly, I'd recommend the property. I'm a light sleeper, so unfortunately I'd avoid it.

We had a good short stay over the Australia day long weekend. The ducks coming up from the river around 4pm for feeding were a highlight, especially when six ducklings invaded our room!
