Riverglen Chalets

We’ve now stayed in both the two-storey and single-storey chalets, and enjoyed both. With young kids, though, we preferred the single-storey one because we could close off the garden and feel sure they wouldn’t wander. We first came with my in-laws and returned with friends and our children. This was our second visit, and Riverglen didn’t disappoint at all. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and fully equipped, so you only need to bring yourselves and your clothes. It’s peaceful and scenic, yet only a five-minute walk into Margaret River. I rarely leave reviews, but I’m so impressed I had to. I’d give it 10 out of 5 if I could. For families wanting to relax and enjoy the surroundings while staying close to town, this is the place.

We enjoyed our holiday in the two chalets we booked, one two-storey and one single-storey. They’re tucked on the outskirts of Margaret River, giving us that South West WA feel while still being just minutes from the town centre. Both the chalets and shared compound were clean, peaceful and well maintained, with all the equipment we needed. Since check-in and checkout were self-service, the staff kept us informed and sent clear instructions before and during our stay.

A lovely, peaceful place just a few minutes from the main drag, and great value compared with some other places. The host was understanding and very accommodating. The bed was comfy, the furniture lovely, and there was a big smart TV with Netflix. A nice stay in every way.

The gardens and grounds were so peaceful, with birdsong all around, and you’d never guess the town’s main roads were nearby. We loved sitting outside on the balcony in the fresh air. Our chalet, Ellenbrook, was beautifully set up and spotless, and the huge sitting room TV was a fun surprise. This was our second stay at Riverglen and we had a great time again. A coffee pod machine would make mornings even nicer. Thanks for such lovely accommodation, we’d happily recommend it.
