The location was a real plus, and I felt safe with my car parked right beside the room. There were also useful extras like a tennis court and laundry. But the room smelled strongly of old sweat as soon as I entered, which was really off-putting. The living room air conditioner was tiny, wouldn't go below 21°, and struggled to cool even that one area, let alone the bedroom. I stayed one night and felt it was overpriced for what I got.

The on-site tavern served good meals, and the shopping area was about a ten-minute walk away or a short drive. Our one-bedroom apartment was quite spacious, with a separate bedroom and kitchenette. It was clean and comfortable.

The restaurant food was okay by pub standards, and the laundry facilities seemed quite new. The decor had some taste to it, though it was a bit old. Unfortunately, the walls were thin, and on some nights the restaurant became an early nightclub until 10:30 pm, so falling asleep before then was impossible. There was no microwave in the room either.

The Villa had comfortable beds, a good shower, and plenty of room for six guests. It was well equipped, and being able to check in early because it was ready ahead of time was much appreciated. We stayed a couple of nights.

The location worked really well for visiting attractions and wineries. The room was spacious and clean, with air-con and a fridge, though it felt dated. The pool was available, but I didn't use it. The bed was very firm and you could feel movement transfer across it. Thin walls also meant hearing the neighbors.
