Jo and James were lovely, accommodating hosts, and their place is beautiful. The boutique tour with James was a highlight: he took us to the best stops, included a personal winery for us, knew his wines, and picked a great lunch spot. Jo also let us feed the kangaroos and shared her knowledge and experience with them. We saw them grazing in the backyard morning and afternoon. The accommodation itself is peaceful, clean, and welcoming, and both hosts know Margaret River and its wineries well. We’d absolutely recommend staying with them and taking James’s wine tour.

The evening platter was delicious, and sitting on the balcony with wine while the local kangaroos came in to feed was such a treat. My friend and I stayed two nights and were delighted with the beautiful setting and stylish, spotless rooms. James and Jo are friendly and personable, and town is only a 10-minute drive away. Thanks for a great stay! 🙏

Waking up to kangaroos right outside the porch was amazing, and James’s boutique wine tour was great too. This was the best accommodation of our 2-month trip. James and Jo are such lovely hosts. If you’re wondering whether to book, YES, DO IT! DO IT NOW!

James really knows the local wineries, and his recommendations were the highlight of our tastings. We stayed 6 nights and felt like part of the family the whole time, thanks to Joanna and James. The room was wonderfully comfortable, and breakfast was tasty, interesting, and different every day. There’s a lovely covered pergola with a BBQ where we could sit with a glass of wine and light snacks, or make a quick BBQ dinner. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Margaret River.

Joanne and james were wonderful hosts and did everything they could to meet our needs. The accommodation and its setting are beautiful, and the rooms are excellent quality. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Margaret River.
