Leonie and Tim went above and beyond to help us, including accommodating a last-minute vegan booking, which we really appreciated. The room and view were beautiful, and the warm, motherly breakfast was a lovely touch.

Wallabies wandering around the gardens were a lovely bonus, and the panoramic water views from our room stretched to Bruny Island. Leonie was a perfect host, full of local knowledge, and made a beautiful full breakfast with all the trimmings. The place was very well appointed, with lots of thoughtful extras. We drove to the Beach House in Blackmans Bay for a lovely dinner. We’ll definitely come back.

My husband and I had a wonderful five-night stay. Leonie made homemade goodies and the breakfasts were the best. We loved the water view and her wildlife visitors, too. Our room was comfortable, very clean and had a homely feel, as did their home. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Leonie and Tim, you’re the best!

After a tortuous time at Hobart airport and finding there was no car hire, Leonie, Tim and the Paddymelons made us feel so welcome. We were there for two nights in February, and the hospitality was 10 out of 10. Leonie’s cheese platter was exceptional, and the breakfasts were great too. The room was faultless, everything had been thought of and nothing was any trouble. We had a wonderful stay at Waterview Gardens.

We only had one night, which was a shame because everything was so beautiful. We’d planned to have a quick breakfast after our lovely overnight stay, but plans changed and Leonie spoiled us with a cooked breakfast. We ate in our beautiful room, looking out over the amazing views of Bruny Island. Next time we visit Tassie, we’ll be back. Thank you, Leonie and Tim!
