The place looked like it would be a barrel of fun. I wanted a beer in the pub as soon as I opened the door, even though it wasn't 8am yet. When we came back around 6:30pm, people were mingling inside and out and the atmosphere was lively. The bottle shop was busy too. I only wish we'd had time to stop for that beer. Our AAT Kings bus stopped twice in one day, first for coffee on the way to Kakadu and then for a comfort stop on the return to Darwin. In the morning, at least half the bus got a coffee or snack, and everyone was served promptly. We had time to use the bathroom and get back aboard without rushing. The coffee wasn't the best, but I've had worse. They had some good snack deals too. After travelling all over Australia, it's great to see people doing things right.

After a brilliant day out on the Territory's waterways, dinner at Corroboree Park Tavern was just right for winding down after fishing. The T-bone was perfectly cooked and the Garlic Prawns were seriously impressive. Good quality food, great service, and a location that suits a post-fishing meal. I'd highly recommend it if you want a solid feed after a day out.

We stayed at the campground for one night. The amenities were clean, there were heaps of shady sites, and the pool was really nice. It's an iconic tavern with lovely people, and I'd love to come back :)

We stumbled across the place by accident and were so glad we did. Our late lunch was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect after exploring around Darwin. Many thanks to Bridget and all the staff who served and cooked for us. They were all wonderful. I can't wait to stay there.

We were hungry when we found this place, so I asked for grilled fish and they brought me barra. I'm usually not a fan of barra, but one bite delivered the most sensational burst of flavour. The barra here is the best in the country. I'll be back.
