Marulan Stayz

The shower was great and everything was very clean, but the bed was hard and small, and the doona didn’t cover two people properly. I was disappointed that our room was so far behind the main residence. There was no view, just a big gravel area, and no children’s equipment. It felt much too close to the highway, and as a light sleeper I heard traffic all night. The setup was a bit unusual. Booking through online travel deals is cheaper than going through the caretaker.

The owners were thoughtful, and the beds were comfortable. Parking with bus access was handy, and we appreciated their recommendations for nearby restaurants and places to visit. The location is brilliant, close to everything. I’ve suggested it to a few friends working contracts in the area, since it seems much better than commuting from Goulburn or Canberra. We’ll stay longer next time.

The rooms were clean, the people lovely, and the location suited us well. If we need to stay in Marulan again, we’ll definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay, you were wonderful 🙂

I’m already fond of this place, and we haven’t even stayed yet! Alison called to ask when we’d arrive, and that’s when I realised I’d booked the wrong date. “No worries,” she said, “I can fix that,” and she did. Woohoo, that made my heart sing.
