The beer garden was an abandoned area, but it was the only spot where we could sit with the dog. Parking was outside the room. Staff were friendly, the beer was cold, and the bar area had air conditioning. We had a couple of good burgers for dinner, and it’s worth looking at the old photos on the wall. The room was basic, with dirty walls and floor, a kettle, a bar fridge, and cold air conditioning. The double bed was hard, though the single was comfortable. One towel was dirty; the other two were okay. I appreciated being allowed to bring the dog.

Jenny & Leah were so welcoming and gave us great service. The food was delicious, with fresh homemade pizza dough and awesome burgers. It’s a very cool, old-school pub. The room was good for a quick stopover, with all the basics we needed. Nothing fancy, as it’s an old venue, but the shower was hot and worked well. We were very happy with our stay. Big thanks from Cassandra & Rita.

That’s the best chicken burger I’ve ever had. If I were on death row, I’d want the chicken burger meal from this place as my last meal. Please keep making them.

The pizza was poor, with hardly any topping. Domino’s makes a better one for half the price. Between that and the room, I paid $156, slept for just two hours, then got in my car and left because the person next door kept flushing the toilet every 15 minutes. What a waste of money. Don’t stay here. The room was dirtier than plenty of prison cells I’ve been in. There was mould around the shower base and screen, and the stained sink needed cleaning. The small, outdated heater kept switching on and off every 30 seconds. The first room had no TV; the second had one but no antenna, so I couldn’t watch it.

The bed was comfortable, the service was good, and the scotch fillet was cooked to perfection. You can’t really ask for more.
