Our hot water was out for four days. When my housemate and I called the emergency number, the woman was extremely rude. She said we seemed to be the only ones with the problem and that it wasn't very pressing as long as we had water, even if it was cold. Then she hung up on us and wouldn't give any updates by phone or text about whether anyone was looking into it. We shouldn't be penalised or talked down to for wanting to keep clean and reporting a problem. It's a real shame that she works in customer service. She shouldn't be doing that kind of work.
