There are several outdoor spots where you can sit with a drink in the evening or have morning coffee, and the place is comfortable for relaxing. It's right across from the beach, with a walkway across the road. The rooms are clean, cosy and well equipped. Even though it's on the Esplanade, it isn't noisy. Thanks to the owners for sharing such a lovely piece of paradise.

Sally and John are wonderful hosts, and the villas are ideally placed between Mt Martha Village and Mornington. There are beaches, cafes and restaurants just minutes away, so it would be a shame to stay indoors. We spent two nights in the Eagle View Room for my wife's birthday. It was clean, cute and classy, with a comfy bed and an ocean view that made it feel perfect for a romantic getaway. We could also watch our favourite shows on the large TV with Netflix & Co. We saw the Pelican too, enlarge my photo and you'll understand what I mean. Take your better half and book the Eagle View soon!

Sally helped us out with a last-minute one-night booking, even though it was against the minimum stay policy. One phone call was all it took, and it worked out for both of us. We stayed in the Eagle Suite, which was simple, comfortable and lovely, with decent amenities including tea, coffee, water, wifi and access to TV streamers. The balcony view was lovely, the bed was comfy, and we had a great stay. Thanks, Sally!

The bed was nice and the Eagle villa had a decent view, but for the price the stay wasn't great. It still takes a drive to get anywhere, and dogs next door barked nearly all day. There was a strange bang about every 15 minutes, which I think came from the air con unit. The smoke alarm went off at 2am, and couldn't be reached from the ground. The kitchen tap was loose and the toilet roll holder fell apart. The shower holder was stuck on with cellotape; a cable tie would look better and still let it move. For somewhere described as close to a beach, one small sample tube of body wash for the whole stay was puzzling. Coffee was plunger style.

Sally made the weekend feel really personal, always happy to stop for a chat and going above and beyond for us. My Fiancé and I got engaged on our last night at Mt Martha Villas, and when we checked out Sally gave us champagne and chocolate. The room was beautiful, with a gorgeous ocean view and just a walk down the road. It was a lovely weekend away, and I'd highly recommend staying here. 10 out of 10.
