Bayview On The Park

We've stayed here several times for its easy city access, reasonable rates, and parking, which costs a little extra. This visit was much like the others: we were greeted with a smile and hello, and had a clean, functional room with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee were provided, and the TV worked. It met our needs, so we'll stay again next time we're in the big smoke.

The staff were upbeat and really helpful, and the food on site was pretty good. The rooms were clean, but quite worn, with patchwork repairs in a lot of places and a definite 90s feel. It might have been a premier hotel in 1995, but it needs some updating. For the price, I still give it four stars and would stay again.

The staff made us feel welcome and did a lot to accommodate me, my wife, and the whole group of international delegates staying for our International Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and always clean. Breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful. I'd stay here again if I travel to Melbourne.

We had a great sleep in a quiet room at the back, with no traffic noise. Even though it was next to the lift, we didn't hear it. The bed was comfortable, and room service was prompt and delicious, which suited us since we were both tired after two days of appointments at the Alfred Hospital. We thought the rate was a great deal for the area, and appreciated the low $13 parking fee, though getting into the car park was a bit cramped. At checkout, they only told us the room service charge and didn't show any details. The invoice had no details either. We'd stay again.
