Buckingham Apartments

A serious plumbing failure ruined our stay. The shower drain backed up and flooded the whole room with unsanitary water. Since the hotel was full, we had to pack in a waterlogged room, and nobody offered clean towels or help with cleaning. The only compensation the staff offered was a "free breakfast" with just 18 minutes left before service ended, earlier than the advertised time. The lack of empathy and professional help after such a distressing incident was unacceptable.

During my stay at the Buckingham Hotel, the shower drain failed and dirty water flooded the bathroom and main living area. Our belongings were damaged, and we were left in an extremely unhygienic situation. The maintenance team arrived promptly, but the hotel was fully booked, so we had to pack up in the flooded room without clean towels or a sanitary place to change. No one offered cleaning or other support to limit the damage to our things or the room while we left. The compensation offered was a complimentary breakfast with only 18 minutes left, well before the advertised closing time. That was inadequate for the seriousness of what happened. The experience fell far below the standards I expected from the Buckingham Hotel, and I look forward to a prompt proposal for how you intend to rectify it.
