Gorgeous High-rise Unit With Sky Bar, Pool and Gym

There’s plenty to do close by, with eateries, restaurants, bars and parks nearby. Coles is across the street, and the train is just a few minutes away on foot. It was easy and fairly quick to get into the city by train, so I’ll definitely stay again on future trips. My one-bedroom apartment was spacious, modern and exceptionally clean. It had a full-size cooktop, oven, washing machine, walk-in robe and balcony. Front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We’d happily return and recommend this hotel. It’s in a fantastic spot, with plenty of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Ronny’s customer service stood out. From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The attached restaurant was sensational, with outstanding service, and seemed really well run. The hotel, though, was a big disappointment. I’d expected somewhere good when I booked and joined the Accor + program, but it felt like profit mattered much more than customers. The welcome email warned guests not to take the soap and shampoo, said housekeeping was only on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and explained there’d be a $300 pre-authorisation on my card, with the money returned up to five days after checkout. There was also a notice in the lifts saying not to set the air con to your preferred temperature because it could malfunction. It all felt very cheap. I wouldn’t stay again.

The front desk team were so welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean. There’s a supermarket across the road, with plenty of shops, cafes and places to eat within walking distance. The city is a short taxi or tram ride away. Five stars from me.
