There were plenty of food choices nearby, and I really appreciated the large full-length mirror and the good bathroom lighting. The place was easy to find, and reception was understanding about my late check-in. After I confirmed my Booking.com reservation beforehand, checking in was quick and smooth. I’d rate it 5/5.

I paid a $200 bond for my Sunday stay and got it back the next day. Then, three days later, another $200 was taken from my bank for no reason. I’d left the room spotless, so there was no reason for that either. Don’t stay if you don’t want to feel scammed.

I’ve never felt so embarrassed to be seen staying somewhere. The place was dirty, the staff were rude, and the price was much higher than other accommodation, with an extra nightly parking charge on top. The parking area felt like an abandoned rubbish site, and signs said to park at your own risk. You can’t enter or leave without staff opening the gate, and to get out you have to reach through the bars to press a button, risking your arm getting caught when it opens. There was also direct access to the roof from the stairwell, which shouldn’t be accessible. At check-in they refused to let us in until everyone showed photo ID. I understand being asked for my own ID, but I’ve never had everyone required to show photo ID. I’ll definitely avoid this place in future.

The location was excellent, with plenty of good food nearby and just a short walk to the tram for a direct trip to the CBD. Our room was quiet, very clean and well maintained, and the little kitchenette made the stay convenient. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, and the service was very good. We’d happily stay again on our next visit to Melbourne. 🥰
