The room was simple, clean, and comfortable, with a handy little kitchenette including a sink, stovetop, microwave, and fridge. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and checkout was quick and easy. The bathroom, though, was incredibly cramped. I had to sit sideways on the toilet, and someone larger would have a very hard time using it or getting in and out of the shower. The bigger issue was parking. I booked a one-night stay about two months ahead and requested a spot then. The hotel called on the day to confirm parking would be available and that I could pay when I arrived. But when we got there yesterday, the booking had no parking note and we were told there were no spaces. We had a concert to get to and had planned our timing around arriving, parking, and getting ready. Instead we had to scramble for somewhere to leave the car all day and overnight, adding stress to a weekend that was meant to be relaxing. The front desk staff member was polite and apologetic, but that didn't fix the problem.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. The room had a rotten skirting board and an odour when I walked in, and the air-conditioning duct vent wasn't working properly. Parking wasn't available either, and we weren't told until we arrived. That was a poor lapse, since we could have made other arrangements if we'd known earlier.

The location is great, and one of the reception staff was friendly. But the room was dated and dirty, and housekeeping didn't show up when they said they would. You have to request cleaning and fresh towels, and sometimes that still doesn't happen. We ran out of toilet paper for two days and had to buy our own. The 20ml body wash was often out of stock too. Based on my two-week stay, this place isn't equipped for longer visits. If you're only here for a night or two and won't spend much time in the room, it might not be an issue.

The staff were friendly, the air conditioning worked really well, and outside noise didn't come through the room, though hallway noise did. They provided milk, tea, and coffee, and the location was excellent. Those were the good parts. We picked this hotel because it was the cheapest in a great spot, and after arriving it was clear why. The hygiene was awful. There was mould throughout the bathroom, including on the shower, exhaust fan, and sink. The bedding and towels were stained, and the doona between the sheets had yellow stains all over it. We wouldn't touch the kitchen: the microwave smelled strongly of old food, had old food and rust in it, and there was hair in the utensil drawer. The walls were marked and stained, and boxes had been left outside our door. We reported these issues to reception the next morning. We were told daily housekeeping wasn't free and happened “maybe every second day if asked”. They replaced the bedding and towels, but those were stained too, and the room wasn't cleaned as promised. The issues we raised during the stay weren't resolved. There was no fresh airflow, and the shower was tiny, with a fixed shower head. Anyone even slightly bigger than average would struggle. The balcony had no light, there was just one bedside table and very little storage, and the building had only one elevator, which took a long time. Parking nearby cost $25 per day, which felt expensive on top of everything else. The signs said not to smoke or vape in rooms or balconies, which is fine, but the “courtyard” we were told to use had no seating, ashtray, or cover. There was no daily housekeeping. You had to ask each day for fresh towels or toilet paper and take out your own rubbish. That's poor service for a hotel. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. With attention to cleanliness, basic hygiene, and daily housekeeping, it could be decent. As it is, I'd spend a little extra and stay elsewhere.

I was here to support a family member at Peter Mac Hospital, just an eight-minute walk away. The staff at quality appartments went above and beyond, and I couldn't have asked for more. Zafi, you're a beautiful soul. Thank you so much for all your help. I'll be back at some point. 🥰⭐️👍🏼
