Clocktower Apartment Hotel

The room was uncomfortable and badly maintained. It reeked of stale cigarette smoke, the windows and balcony door were stuck shut, the sink was clogged, the shower seal was broken, and a light fixture was hanging from the ceiling. Absolutely awful stay.

The Clocktower is in a brilliant central spot, and the staff were attentive and suggested some great local restaurants. We had a very pleasant family stay and would be happy to return. I've stayed here many times for work, but this was my first time bringing the family. The rooms are basic and showing their age, though they were quite tidy. There were a few minor snags: the main bedroom didn't have the TV shown in the online images, the dryer was out of order, and the kitchen was short on things like a frying pan. There was also a very odd toilet seat cover attached with Velcro.

The rooms aren't modern, but they're much bigger and better value than other options in the area. Parking was good value too. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was so kind and helpful, going out of their way to look after guests. Highly recommend, and thanks so much to Emmyitt for all the help.

The rooms were huge and pretty clean, better than at well-known hotels. They are a bit old and have some imperfections, but with the price and service, I was really happy. The staff were helpful from the start through to the end.
