The festive Christmas décor and dedicated photo spot added a nice touch, and the restaurant was outstanding, with excellent service, lots of food choices and fresh, high-quality dishes. We came to the city for a Lady Gaga concert and had booked this hotel in advance. It turned out to be a great choice: check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. We loved the room and the hotel's atmosphere. The view was stunning and the location couldn't be better. Free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, linen was changed regularly, and housekeeping was to a high standard. I've stayed in hotels around the world and can confidently recommend this one for comfort, style and great service.

The breakfast was a real highlight. I love a buffet, and lots of hotels try but don't get it right. Crowne Plaza did: you could scan a QR code to order freshly made omelettes, scrambled eggs, or hard-boiled or poached eggs. There were pastries, fresh juices, fruit and hot food for all sorts of tastes. My breakfast adventures often kept me full until dinner, sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse 😂. I stayed here in June 2025 and forgot to review it. The desk and restaurant staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was big enough for two people to get ready in a hurry. It's close to public transport and a few minutes' walk from the casino, a nice change from staying right in the city centre. As a member I got late checkout, a lovely perk. I can't wait to return.

I have a disability and highly recommend this hotel. I was nervous about my first trip with my wheelchair, but the staff were so accommodating and friendly. They gave us a parking space so I could take time unpacking the wheelchair and putting it back in the car without doing it in the valet drive-through. I also wanted to use the pool but couldn't get down onto the sunbeds. I asked if they could put a table and chair out there for me. They checked with health and safety, then set up a table and chair with a reserved sign and an extra towel. Breakfast was good quality, and ordering eggs to the table was easy. I didn't use my wheelchair in the buffet area because I thought it would be hard to navigate around the guests, and mornings are when I can walk best. I'm sure staff could've found a solution if I'd asked, since they were so helpful and kind. Thank you so much for making my first trip out with the wheelchair a success. The location was great, just across from the casino, and the paths between them were smooth and easy to navigate.

The roadworks around the building made it tricky to find at first, though the location itself was very handy. I stayed a few nights in January for the Australian Open and had a great time. The standard double was spacious, the pool was good, and the service stayed consistently good. They got my bill wrong, but fixed it as soon as I pointed it out. I’ll definitely stay again.
