Element by Marriott Melbourne Richmond

The team were so helpful, and a few small issues we had were sorted out quickly. Our room was good and breakfast was always delicious. The hotel is just outside central Melbourne, with the MCG and Australian Open tennis a short tram ride away. Swan Street No.70 also has plenty of restaurants and bars and runs right to the city centre. Highly recommended. PL, London

The room was really comfortable, and I'd stay again if bringing my dog. They have good options for dogs and people without them. The location is a little farther from the CBD than I'd usually choose, but driving made that fine. Without a car, it probably wouldn't have been as convenient. Another guest's actions were the only downside. Staff said it had been reported and was being handled, so I can't really fault them.

I planned on just one night, then extended by eight more and stayed for the rest of my vacation. Simran gave me a wonderful welcome at check-in. Hari and Archit in the restaurant went above and beyond with their service, and the staff work together like a real team. The hotel manager also greeted me warmly and offered to help make my stay comfortable. Shout-out as well to Fiona Vaideh.

I stayed in early November 2025 using points, and was glad to see Element Richmond gave me the same service as a paying guest. Mr. Tristan at the front desk explained the hotel facilities clearly, was enthusiastic, and did his best to arrange an early check-in. I felt relaxed there. My room was very clean and quiet, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was clean and functional with strong water pressure. I also played pool in the lobby while waiting for the room. The downsides: the kitchen was closed on Sunday, and with hardly any nearby restaurants I had to take a tram to find a cafe or somewhere to eat. As an Asian tourist, that was quite a culture shock since it seems normal in Australia. Breakfast didn't have many choices either, though maybe I'm comparing it with Marriott buffets in Asia.
