Gracehill

It's a wonderful, peaceful and romantic spot. I've stayed several times and the rooms and breakfast provisions have never disappointed. Betty and Fred's hospitality is lovely too. Definitely a place to stay in the Dandenongs!

We booked The Barn and were amazed by how beautiful the cottage was. Every detail in the house felt full of warmth and care. I especially loved the living room fireplace, the nearby wilderness, the porch and the lovely kitchen, really the whole house. Betty was welcoming and hospitable, and we'll definitely be back. A perfect place to get away and refresh.

Betty made us feel welcome at Gracehill during our two nights at the Homestead. We arrived on a cold, rainy afternoon to soothing music and the gas wood fire already lit inside. The amenities were what you'd expect and a little more, and the views from the rooms were stunning, especially with all the mist. The rain kept us from seeing more of the gardens, so we'll just have to come back.

We only stayed one night, with five of us there after a wedding, and I wish we'd had longer. The property and the Barn were beautiful and cozy, with thoughtful details everywhere: all the cooking utensils you could need, kids' bathrobes, and plenty more. Betty was accommodating, and Pippa was friendly and welcoming. A day later, I still can't stop raving about this hidden gem. We'll definitely return. Just go, you'll have a great time and thank me later.
