The room was very clean, which was lovely, but the fridge was incredibly loud. It sounded like it might explode any second and kept waking me up. I stayed about four days, and unfortunately I can’t recommend the place. People walked straight into my room without warning several times around 6:30 or 7 in the morning, while I was asleep or getting ready. I was travelling solo and it scared the hell out of me. I never felt fully safe or like I had privacy, since I was always on edge waiting for it to happen again. I raised it with staff and they said they’d look into it, but I never got any compensation for being made to feel so unsafe. I won’t be back.

The hotel has a warm, welcoming feel, and the food was great and well priced. Staff were amazing and friendly, going above and beyond, and the rooms were clean and fresh. We’ll be back.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the staff were amazing. A big thank you to the chef Timothy for staying back after the kitchen closes at 8. We ordered 10 minutes late and he still made the effort to cook our meal. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel and its staff.

The price is an absolute bargain, and there’s a pub, restaurant, coffee shop, and bottle shop literally next door. The staff are lovely, and the room was very clean and not dated. Definitely recommend 👌

The pub next door has such a great vibe, and the place itself was lovely to stay in. I’ll be back soon.
