Hyatt Centric Melbourne

The staff really made the stay special. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and professional, and took care to make sure I was comfortable. The hotel was modern, clean and well maintained, too. I spent two nights here, on 4 and 5 March 2026. The location was very convenient for exploring Melbourne, with many attractions nearby. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in the city. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting.

The location made getting around easy, with the airport bus stop and tram station just a short walk away. I stayed here with my father and slept really well. Our room was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, and I appreciated having an indoor pool and a spacious gym. Breakfast was excellent, especially with the beautiful view of the city centre. The chef was friendly and made it even more enjoyable. A great stay, and I’d definitely come back.

We’ve been here for over a week and liked it enough to extend our stay by a few more days. Our room was a highlight, with tall ceilings, modern lighting and a bed that was medium to firm, just right for us. It doesn’t feel dated like many hotels. The hotel’s street presence isn’t especially elegant, but inside the lobby is quite nice and the staff are always smiling and helpful. The gym and pool on level 5 are great, especially the warm 25-metre lap pool. We also loved the level 25 restaurant for its drinks, food, service and wonderful views. Highly recommend.

We were in Melbourne for the Australian Open and would happily stay here again. A free tram to Melbourne Park stops just across the road, and the ground floor was set up for the Open with a large-screen TV, seating, bean bags and free products. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and stocked with sustainable bathroom products, and the lovely restaurant had a good range of breakfast choices.
