Tyrian Serviced Apartments Fitzroy

The staff made a tough situation much easier. We came down with food poisoning, not from any eatery in the neighbourhood, and had to add another night at the last minute. Reception took extra care to keep us in the same apartment. They also topped up our nespresso pods when they noticed we'd used them, and let us store luggage between our two bookings. The front desk and cleaning team were lovely and helpful throughout. We booked the one bedroom deluxe for six nights across two bookings. The apartment was spacious, super clean and thoughtfully furnished. Both the bed and sofa were comfortable, the kitchen had the utensils and appliances we needed, and the washer and dryer in the bathroom were fast and efficient. We also made good use of the study area for bags and laptops. Fitzroy is lively, with restaurants, bars, bookstores and thrift shops all within walking distance. Coles is right next door and the tram stops are two minutes away. We'll definitely choose it again next time we're in Melbourne.

The main reason I booked was the advertised free parking, but the car park was full when we arrived and we were told to park on the street. Most of those spaces are permit only. They say the Fitzroy apartments have free on-site parking, but that wasn't our experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're counting on a car park.

The reception team made my five-week stay at Tyrian Service Apartments at Fitzroy in Melbourne especially good. Sara and Molly in particular were friendly, professional and always ready to go the extra mile. They helped with requests, shared local recommendations and greeted guests with a warm smile. The apartment was spacious, clean and equipped with everything I needed to be comfortable. The location was great too, and made it easy to explore the city.

We were upgraded just because they could, and were able to check in early and leave our luggage after checkout. The price was very reasonable, and it'd be ideal for a longer stay. The Fitzroy apartments are in an excellent, walkable spot near transport, with great food and bars close by.
