Leafield Cottages

Jan & Ron were friendly, approachable, and easy to communicate with. The cottage was in a great spot, close to Yarra Glen and lots of other lovely places. I really enjoyed having some time to myself there. The bed was comfortable and the place felt cosy, with a nice country feel. There were generous breakfast provisions, though a few typed instructions for the coffee machine might help. Getting my car out in reverse or turning around was a little tricky, but still fine. Highly recommend Leafield Cottages!

Our studio apartment was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was excellent, and we really appreciated the little extras. Host Jan&Ron were some of the most sincere, caring, and polite people we’ve met. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable, nothing was too much trouble. I needed somewhere close to family in Steels Creek while they were renovating, and Leafield Cottages in Dixons Creek turned out to be just right. I visit Vic several times a year and usually stay with family less than 10 minutes away, so the location worked out perfectly. Jan was lovely and very accommodating, and breakfast was provided for three days. The cottage had a great country feel, was spotless, and had everything needed to be self-contained. Thanks, Jan.

Even during a very hot day and night, we stayed comfortable by keeping the lounge air conditioning on and using the ceiling fans in every room. Both bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully styled, and the light breakfast we chose, croissants, toast, fresh fruit and yoghurt, was tasty and plentiful. We were at Leafield Cottages for a wedding at a nearby winery, and the location was ideal. It’s just off Melba Hwy, but we didn’t hear road noise. The cottage itself was lovely.
