Leddicott Cottage

The woodland right beside the cottage meant there was plenty to explore without even heading out. There are also walks, gardens and a dog park a short drive away, and it’s about a 10-minute walk up or down the hill to coffees and the cute town. Our dog was welcome, and Sylvia suggested lots of activities and dog-friendly places. She kept in touch well before and during our stay, and made sure we had what we needed. It really felt like staying with a friend, and I can’t wait to return. Inside, I loved the decor. The cottage was comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen, spices and coffee choices, a lovely bath, a cosy fireplace and a very comfortable bed. We cooked most evenings, and had everything we needed.

We spent our afternoons in the backyard looking out over the gardens and enjoying how peaceful it was. Leddicott Cottage was a lovely little escape for our two-night stay, with a cosy feel and beautiful gardens all around it. Sylvia gave us a warm welcome and brought lovely snacks, including some for the dog, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made for a memorable stay. We’d rate it 10/10.

We loved staying at Leddicott Cottage for our anniversary and have already booked again for our return. The accommodation is beautiful, set in tranquil grounds and close to Olinda, Mt Dandenong and Sassafras.

I stayed at Leddicott Cottage for a few weeks, and it really became a home away from home. The peaceful natural setting was great for both relaxing and getting things done, and waking to birdsong was a highlight. Inside, the cottage brings heritage character together with modern comfort. The interiors have lovely details, from the luxurious bedding to the other thoughtful touches, and I especially liked the well-equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with its fireplace.
