The room was tidy and well looked after, and we'd consider staying again. There were a few things that could be improved, though. The bathroom had no shelves or surfaces for personal items despite having space, and the wardrobe had only three hangers even though there was room for more. A few more places to put clothes and belongings would help. There was no room cleaning during the stay, which isn't necessarily a problem, but the room had only one tiny bin and there wasn't one in the bathroom. The trash filled up quickly. We had a very pleasant stay at lyf on Elizabeth Melbourne. It's a modern, clean hotel in a central spot, with many attractions, cafes, and restaurants an easy walk away. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, and really made an effort to make our stay enjoyable. Despite those small suggestions, we'd happily recommend it.

The location is extremely good, with plenty of nice places to eat around the hotel. The lobby coffee is great and free of charge if you're a member. I've stayed a few times and the same issue comes up each time: the air conditioning has to stay on all the time, otherwise there's a smell in the rooms.

The rooms are nice, though like a usual hotel room, and the large windows give a good view over the street and trees below. The reception, lounge, and communal kitchen feel lovely and welcoming. The gym is spacious, with adequate equipment in good condition. There's a good choice of Asian restaurants nearby and supermarkets close by too. Trams and buses are right outside, and two main railway stations are relatively nearby.

The common kitchen and laundry made our weeklong stay feel easy and cosy, and we really loved how well equipped they were. The hotel has been newly renovated from the previous one, so everything feels brand new. The gym was great too, with tutorial videos on screens. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleaning was excellent. A highlight of our Melbourne trip. Highly recommend!

The staff made this stay for us, especially Amelia, who was warm, welcoming and looked after us throughout. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and being right in the heart of Melbourne CBD was ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lyf on Elizabeth.
