MAC Middle Park by Melbourne Apartment Collection

Getting the key was a frustrating start. I spent half an hour trying to find the number for the lockbox, then had to get a new code from the person who booked the room for me. The place was clean when I got in and the bed was very comfortable, but I had a rough night. Water draining anywhere made a loud noise in my bedroom. I couldn’t leave the door open because the flyscreen door had no brush seal and bugs came through. Just as I finally fell asleep, the cafe next door started washing dishes at 5 a.m. The double glazed windows didn’t block the noise, and looked as if they’d been cleaned outside with a dirty mop. I could hear the squeaky saloon doors as staff went in and out around thirty times, and pigeons cooing in their nest outside. The coffee machine leaked, and my mugs were too big to fit underneath and catch the coffee. I barely slept and struggled to stay awake on the three-hour drive home. I was very disappointed.
