The rooms were always clean, and the staff were friendly. I had a good stay, with an easy-to-reach location and a good car park. There’s a restaurant with a nice view, but no breakfast. I’d suggest replacing the hallway carpet because it smells.

The rooms were huge and the beds comfortable. The venue looked nice and modern, though it’s getting a little tatty around the edges. The restaurant looked nice, but the food was just average. Staff were happy, if not very outgoing. We enjoyed our stay.

Our kids loved watching the workmen build and repair boats. Depending on the room, you look out over the park and water or the boat docks. The room was uncomfortably hot much of the time, including overnight, so we left the door open for cool air, even though it was autumn. The location is great, with lots of restaurants nearby and the park and docks to explore.

We ate from the bar menu at Pelican's Landing Restaurant/Bar complex in the same building. The meal was good, and the service very good. On a warm Friday evening, we sat by the water with a view across the bay to the city lights. It’s a reliable pub-style menu, and there’s an A La Carte menu too. I’ll have to return to try the better menu.

The kitchen had everything needed, the rooms were quiet, practical and comfortable, and there were plenty of secure parking spots underneath. Check-in staff were polite and very helpful, and free wifi was included. Shops and cafes are close by, and the location is great. I look forward to staying again.
