The apartment itself was lovely, well equipped, and in a great location. But getting help was a different story. Before the stay I messaged through Booking.com to arrange an extra parking space and got no reply. After I got home, I realised my hair straightener was still in the ensuite. I called every day for five days and sent several messages through Booking.com, plus an email through their direct website. It’s now been more than a week since I stayed, and nobody has responded. I’m really disappointed and annoyed that personal customer service seems to have been traded for automation. I wouldn’t recommend the place or stay again.

Mel, the hotel manager, was amazing during our recent three week work stay. My family was with me, and whenever we needed a hand she was always willing to help. The rooms were great too. As a business owner, I’d love to have someone like her on my team.

Parking was really handy, and the bed was super comfortable. The apartment was clean, beautiful, and packed with amenities. It’s right on the Sorrento strip, with Ritchies nearby if you need groceries. I couldn’t fault the stay.

We booked the whole venue for three nights so our family could celebrate our intimate wedding in the penthouse. It was perfect, and everyone was so happy with the size and cleanliness of the lovely self contained apartments. Huge thanks to Mel and Elaine for letting us celebrate our special day at Carmels and for doing so much for us. We can’t wait to return. Nicole & Luke x
