Mantra City Central Melbourne

The staff were nice, and the place was comfortable enough that I'd come back. The location is hard to beat, with the fancy mall, Chinatown, trams, and Queen VIC market all close by. Everything was convenient. The rooms could use a little love, as you'd expect in such a central spot, and the cleanliness was good enough but not immaculate. Also, not every unit has a washer dryer.

The city location is incredible, and from the fifth floor we couldn't hear any street noise. You need your room card to operate the lift going up, which felt secure. I was surprised by how spacious and clean the room was after reading so many negative reviews, and it had a lovely little kitchenette. The shower is over the bath, which is a bit difficult for us older folks. A grab rail would be a good safety addition. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

We appreciated being able to leave our bags at the desk until check-in, and the welcome came with a very warm smile. The Quality is well located and affordable, just minutes from a free tram and great coffee at Brother baba badan. Our room was quiet and kept clean, though it had no view. The bathroom could use a deeper clean, and I noticed stains on the bed sheets. Still, I'd stay again for the location and price.

We had plenty of room in the apartment and it was clean and quiet. It had everything we needed for breakfast and some lunches. The shower pressure wasn't great, but for what we paid, the value is hard to beat. The location is second to none, within walking distance of most attractions and right by the free inner-city trams.
