After a long journey, the Miami was just what I needed on my first visit to Australia. Reception was always friendly and helpful, and available around the clock. My room was plain, but very clean, with a comfortable bed. They changed the linen and towels daily and made the bed with tight hospital corners, which took me back to childhood. There’s also a well-equipped communal kitchen, with no fridges there since each room has its own. The location is pleasant, close to Queen Victoria Market and North Melbourne Station. I’d recommend this hotel.

The room was neat and well looked after, and the little fridge was a nice extra. Ours had a problem, but the staff were lovely about it and replaced it promptly without any fuss. The communal kitchen had everything we needed, including microwaves, a stovetop, cutlery, bowls, chopping boards and utensils, so making meals was easy. The lounge was comfortable too, a good place to unwind. All the staff were genuinely welcoming and accommodating, which really improved our stay at the Miami Hotel. Great value with excellent facilities and service. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The North Melbourne location has all you need, with pubs, IGA and places to eat nearby. The 57 trams are just steps away for a quick trip into the CBD. I arrived at 10pm for a two-week AOpen stay, and Andrew helpfully told us the IGA was still open. The room was clean, adequate and good value for this time of year. The cleaning staff were cheerful and helpful, which you don’t see as often these days, and Basha? and the other day staff were friendly too. Mia booked a cab and helped us when we left. Good budget hotel with a nice vibe, we felt looked after. Happy campers!

We came to explore the city, so the older rooms and house didn’t bother us. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a fridge and TV. The staff were super friendly. It’s a short walk to Queen Victoria Market and the free tram zone, and it made for a fantastic, budget-friendly stay.

The walls didn’t seem very thick, but somehow it stayed quiet. Great place on a small budget. Everything was clean, we got fresh towels each day, and it was handy being able to do our own laundry and cooking.
