Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne On Spencer

The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful throughout, and the whole hotel was kept impressively clean. Breakfast at the buffet was lovely, the cafe was good for coffee and snacks, and the afternoon chocolates were a nice extra. Our room was a great size, with a couch, small table and a proper King bed rather than two singles pushed together. The bathroom was a good size, tucked away for privacy. We also loved the pool, which worked well for laps or relaxing, and the well-equipped gym. The location was perfect, opposite Southern Cross with tram stops right outside. We loved our stay at Movenpick Melbourne On Spencer and would definitely recommend Melbourne On Spencer.

Miss Mi handled our wedding lunch buffet for 50 people, and the whole thing was flawless. The food was incredible, presentation and service were excellent, and the team stayed attentive throughout. They even supplied takeaway containers, a thoughtful touch. Thank you to everyone for making our celebration so special. We couldn't recommend Mövenpick and Miss Mi highly enough! I met a friend here for a business coffee and loved the calm atmosphere. It feels modern, clean and welcoming, without the noise and chaos of some city cafés. You can actually talk without shouting, and the comfortable seating and friendly, professional service made the catch-up easy. Everything felt organised. The coffee was great and nicely presented. The place has a relaxed, premium feel without being pretentious, and we didn't feel rushed while talking. Right beside Southern Cross Station, it's very convenient for meeting in the city. I'd come back for another catch-up or a quiet coffee.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great, directly across from Southern Cross Station. We'd booked single beds, but as tall people they didn't work for us, since they weren't king singles as we'd previously been told. The staff arranged a change to a King room, which we appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. On a cold day, the pool and spa were lovely and warm. Afternoon chocolate hour was a nice bonus, as was the free guest water fountain with sparkling, still and chilled water.
