Nesuto Docklands Apartment Hotel

Great value for a short stay, whether you're traveling solo or as a couple. The room had the appliances I needed, and I was upgraded to one with a balcony. It's right by the Docklands shopping centre, with public transport easy to reach. I'd happily stay again.

We came for the AO and found this hotel a great fit. A free tram stop is only 100m away and goes straight to Rod Laver. The room was comfortable and clean, and very affordable for Melbourne. Staff were friendly when we checked in and out, and there's a supermarket, cafes, and everything else you need in and around the hotel. Fab location, highly recommend.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the area was quiet. The location is handy too, with a tram nearby and a supermarket downstairs. The kitchen could use more equipment, since ours had only one bowl and no frypan. Still, we had a good stay and would come back.

The parking was the biggest hassle for us. Even though we paid AUD $150 for unlimited access over six nights, the QR code never worked, so every time we drove in we had to take a free 90-minute ticket and ask reception to extend it. There was plenty of space, but that process was frustrating and unnecessary. We paid about AUD $1,150 for the apartment, which seemed reasonable by Melbourne standards. The place was fairly clean, and the CBD was roughly a 15-minute drive away, though the tram wasn't as handy as we'd expected. We asked in advance for a high floor and extra care with cleanliness because we had a baby, but got level 7, which felt busy, with people coming and going and children crying nearby. Housekeeping only happens every four days, and extra cleaning is just a light service. With a baby, cooking in the apartment and dealing with rubbish each day, that didn't work very well for us. It was an okay six-night stay, but the parking setup and cleaning policy could be better for families.
