Pegasus Apart'Hotel

We stayed at Pegasus Apart'Hotel in February. Getting around was easy from the great location, and the coin laundry on site came in handy. Breakfast was simple and just okay, but convenient. A practical, comfortable place to stay.

We spent one night here and would gladly have stayed longer if time had allowed. Our room was upgraded, and it was very clean, with everything we needed. The TV channels were great for downtime, and I always appreciate a good shower. We booked the buffet breakfast and had a generous 11am checkout, so we could relax and enjoy it. Parking is a big factor for us in city stays, and the spa and pool were great facilities. I used them and felt even more relaxed. The whole weekend was faultless. We’ll be back.

From level 12, the room was quiet, roomy, and had everything I needed for four nights. The lifts were quick and dependable, and the pool and spa were kept in lovely condition. It was also an easy walk, under five minutes, to the trams and Flagstaff station. The bed was the main downside. It felt very hard, and the light bedding left me cold at night. It was two singles pushed together, with a noticeable seam down the middle. A spare soft blanket would have helped. Still, I enjoyed my stay at Pegasus, and the staff were nice.

Breakfast was a bright spot, with plenty of choice and chefs making eggs to order. The pool and gym were great too. The room, though, felt disappointing for an executive suite we paid extra for: soft beds, an average couch, and a showerhead that barely came away from the wall. A standard adjustable one would be more useful. We sometimes waited five minutes for the lifts on the higher floors. The location was just okay, with views of office and apartment buildings, and the markets weren't open during our visit. It would be handy to have filtered water in the lobby or gym. Staff were okay, and the stay overall was pretty average.
