The apartment was at the back of the complex, so it was quiet despite being on a main thoroughfare. The location is great, and the rooms are spacious with nearly everything you might need. The bed was clean, though harder than I’d like. Our booking was accidentally cancelled because of a technical fault. It left us $100 out of pocket, but we did still have accommodation, and the front desk staff were understanding and helpful. The room also needed a deep clean: there was some mould in the showers, splatter marks on the walls, grime behind the toilet, cobwebs and more.

The bathroom is spacious, but getting in and out of the tub could be a real challenge for some people. The standard room itself is small but clean, and the furniture feels dated. Connecting to the hotel internet was cumbersome, and it lacks some of the standard amenities you’d find at other apartment hotels.

The room and location were good, but the service wasn’t. My partner and I booked a night expecting the advertised room with a balcony. On arrival, they said the ad was wrong and the balcony room would cost extra. We were expected to pay more because, as they put it, it wasn’t their fault. Good rooms, bad service.

The outdoor spa has been filled in with concrete since my last visit. The rooms have a faint smell, and the place feels pretty worn out. Even the elevator sounds like it could break any moment, and its flooring is already lifting. Fine for a night, maybe two, but it needs a lot of attention.

A good place to stay, close to bus and tram stops. Restaurants are an easy walk away, and the supermarket is about five minutes away by travel. It’d be better with more kitchen utensils, like a cooker and mixer grinder, and longer gym hours.
