The location was good, the room spacious, and despite being near the train tracks there was no noise. Staff were friendly, but the place was in a messy state and extremely dirty. The kitchen and appliances were particularly filthy, the dishes hadn’t been cleaned properly, dust and dirt were everywhere, the washing machine was unhygienic, and the sofa and chairs were covered in dog hair. We asked to switch rooms. The second was better, but still not properly clean. We were very disappointed and glad we only stayed two nights. We won’t return.

When our car was scratched in the parking lot, I mentioned it at the front desk. The front desk manager, a white male, immediately dismissed it and said it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility. I understand they may not have been directly at fault, but the way he quickly pushed away any responsibility and stressed it had nothing to do with the hotel was very disheartening. His manner felt extremely mean and unprofessional. A package was delivered for me, and when I asked if they could hold it briefly, he bluntly said it could only be kept for 24 hours, with a very harsh attitude. I’ve never been treated that way at another hotel. The dishwasher in our room was broken too, and took almost two weeks to replace. That’s an unacceptable delay for basic maintenance. I left very disappointed after a terrible experience.

Speaking for my family and myself, this was the best hotel we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. The professionalism was first class, and the price was very competitive. Highly recommended.

The location is superb, with public transport close by and plenty of high quality restaurants serving different cuisines nearby, plus banks, chemists and shops. The reception area is modern and inviting, and the decor overall feels relaxing and well considered. The room itself is dated and could use attention. Though the apartment is small, too many chairs clutter the space. There’s sloppy repair work in the bathroom, some cabinets have chipped edges, and a massive old metal hot water tank inside the wardrobe makes me not even want to open it. The bed is firm and comfortable, and I liked the O&M shampoo and conditioner. The receptionists were all lovely and polite, which helped make up for the shortcomings.
