The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, but the stay didn't match the hype or the premium price. The front desk area was so cluttered when we arrived that I wasn't sure I'd come to the right place, which was an off-putting first impression. We were on the 5th floor, where the sound insulation was remarkably poor. It was noisy through the night and hard to sleep, and the bed was mediocre rather than as comfortable as I'd expected. The shower has no partition or splash guard, so water covered the whole bathroom floor and left it slippery after every use. Although we were guests, using the rooftop bar felt nearly impossible because almost every table was marked reserved all the time. It didn't feel like the amenities were prioritized for hotel residents. At this price, I expected the details to be handled better. Between the noise and the poor room layout, the value for money wasn't there for me.

It was the people and outstanding service that made the stay memorable and would bring us back. The hotel itself and its location were excellent, but the team went above and beyond to take care of us while we celebrated my fiancée's birthday. We were treated exceptionally well.

Gillie made the weekend stay for my sister's 30th birthday feel really special, arranging balloons and personal photos in frames around the room. The customer service was amazing, and we loved the rooftop, bar and deli. Such a nice experience, we'll definitely be back!

I was there with about 19 colleagues and had a fantastic experience at QT Melbourne. I was lucky enough to get a beautiful room, and the bathtub was divine. It's a modern, sophisticated hotel in the heart of Melbourne. The staff were lovely, super nice and accommodating. I couldn't fault the food, cocktails or bed, and the gorgeous well-being dog in the front lobby was a bonus. Thanks so much.

We had an equally enjoyable stay at QT gold coast in October, and I'd recommend QT Melbourne without hesitation too. This time we stayed a few nights from Xmas Eve. The hotel has a great modern industrial chic look, with fantastic foyer and public spaces, quality furnishings and interesting art objects throughout. The staff look amazing in their funky cool outfits. Our QT King room was spacious, with amazing city views and lots of lighting options for setting the mood. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Sarah at the front desk added some lovely touches, Gina was warmly hospitable, and young Josh took care of our car. Valet parking was a breeze, and the security staff were friendly too. The Roof Top bar was amazing, with very good cocktails and city light views. Pascal Restaurant had comfortable dining chairs, lots of interesting wares and oddities to look at, and an open kitchen where you could watch the action.
