Quest Dandenong Central

Good option for a business stay, and families could make use of the adjoining rooms. The location was handy, a very short walk from Dandenong train station and the bus interchange. I got a discount, so the price was reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were good for a few nights, including a gym, laundry and working area. The toiletries were good too. My room didn’t have a balcony, and there was no coffee machine or espresso setup in the room. I had to make instant coffee for a couple of mornings. There wasn’t a machine at reception or in the ground-floor common area either. I only spotted a coffee shop across the side street on my last day.

We had everything we needed in the two-bedroom apartment. It’s close to the transport hub, and restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Parking is available on-site for an extra $15 a day.

The space was beautifully designed and made for a relaxing stay. Staff were polite and accommodating, and food outlets and grocery shops are an easy walk away.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel I have to this time. I was staying at Quest Central in Dandenong on a business trip at the start of this year, and the room cleanliness was disgraceful. In the first room, there were stains all over the floor and sofa, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the kitchen was dirty. I complained and was upgraded to a suite, but that wasn’t any better. There were dirty marks on the bed, the kitchen had the same issues, and there was even a hair on the chopping board. I have photos, but it won’t let me attach them. I will never stay here again.
