The location worked well for my hospital visit, and it’s also handy for Queen Vic market and nearby restaurants. But the rooms and shared areas need a serious clean. There was dirt and food behind the bin, the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied, and the hallways needed vacuuming. The shower needs a deep scrub, too. The saucepan was so burnt I wouldn’t use it even to collect rainwater for plants. The bathroom door hook had broken off and been shoved in the cupboard, paint was peeling off the doors, and the bedroom slider was hard to lock because it was broken. Though the place is fully self-contained, there was nothing to use in the microwave.

We spent more than a week in the RNR one-bedroom apartment and felt right at home. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Even after a long flight and tiring day, the very late check-in went smoothly. Ankit and Darleen made the stay special. Ankit kept our luggage, lent us an umbrella in the rain and gave us great directions. Darleen was always warm and ready to help, with a smile and the necessities we needed. Their hospitality was wonderful. Thanks so much, we’d happily recommend the place.

Apartment 113 is in a good location and does the job, but it needs much better upkeep. There was a strange fishy smell in the bathroom and a general musty smell throughout. The bathroom faucet was detached from the sink, while the couches and walls were stained or scratched. The curtains had cracked and worn areas, and the carpet needed a better vacuum. The bedside tables looked chewed up, the paint was peeling, and things seemed to be falling apart. After seeing the condition of the place, I felt unsure about sleeping in the bed and whether the linen had been cleaned properly.

Good value, with spacious apartments. The desk staff were helpful, and it’s an excellent spot if you need the Royal Melbourne hospitals, just over a five-minute walk away.
