From the outside, The Bay Motel may not look fancy, but our upper-level premier suite was a lovely surprise. The room was such a high standard, and the little details were really well thought through. Everything was spotless, even the glasses, mugs, TV remote, and air-conditioner remote, all neatly presented in plastic bags in the cupboards. The bedding was good quality, and the toiletries were great, with make-up remover wipes and a face washer too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it felt like they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The motel has a lift and accessible parking bays. There is also a clean BBQ area with utensils and plenty of picnic tables. For the price, I'd recommend staying here. We had a great visit, and really appreciated the effort.

Nicole was friendly and helpful when we booked, and we really appreciated the coffee machine. Our room had plenty of storage, and the kitchenette was more than enough for what we needed. Everything was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We'd happily recommend it and stay again if we're back this way.

Nicole and her staff were fantastic and ready to help whenever we needed them. Our room was clean and roomy for two adults and two children. Safety Beach was just a few minutes away on foot, and restaurants and shops took around a 10-minute walk. For affordable Dromana accommodation near the beach and shops, I'd highly recommend the Bay Motel. We'll definitely return next time. Booking through their website was much cheaper than booking.com or another agency, and we didn't have to pay until we arrived.

Nicole was easy to communicate with, and the location was handy for the beach, with the main shops about a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette made it easy to put together breakfast or dinner. We loved staying at Bay Motel.

The room was basic for the premium price, and the service was ordinary. There's mould in the shower and the bathroom tap is loose and leaking. The BBQ area is nice, but it was quite dirty when we visited. Parking bays are very short, so a large vehicle could be damaged in the car park. It's close to the beach, but sits on a very busy, dangerous road, which isn't ideal with kids. I'd only recommend it if you're planning to spend all your time out, since the room is really just for sleeping and washing.
