My daughter booked two rooms before her wedding. The mattress and topper were filthy and absolutely uncomfortable, so my husband slept fully clothed on the couch. Our room also hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. We would never come back or recommend it. It's hard to even give one out of five.

The room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. When we pulled back the duna, we found a hair tie and hair in the sheets; the pillows had hair and black smudges on them too. There was no staff available to sort it out, so we got sheets from friends rather than sleep in that dirty bed. It's unacceptable for a hotel charging what they do to have dirty sheets, and other comments make this seem like a recurring issue. Thanks for replying. The booking was under my wife's name, Claire. We arrived and couldn't get into the property because the code we'd been given didn't work. We had to wait outside while someone fixed the problem over the phone. Once we finally got to the room, the TV didn't work either. I called to have it fixed, but nobody came. Extremely disappointing. If you're in St Kilda or Melbourne, stay somewhere else.

The location was the one good thing about these apartments. The photos make them look beautiful and luxurious, but in person the condition was a real letdown. Couches and cushions were stained, dusty, and seemed like they hadn't been washed; surfaces around the rooms and on the outdoor furniture were dirty too. The windows and balcony sliding doors were unclean, and the shared console tables on many floors looked unwiped for at least a month. Furniture throughout was scratched and worn, with some swelling marks. Even the toilet paper was very thin, just one ply, which was disappointing after paying a premium. My room's dishwasher leaked, so we couldn't use it. I booked and paid for several rooms for my wedding weekend on the 12th October, so family and friends could stay together and make the morning logistics easier. We had several rooms for two nights and spent well over $3500. I was disappointed that they wouldn't offer a free early check-in for a couple of guests travelling from far away, and instead wanted to charge $25 per hour per room. Communication through their corporate company, Corporate Keys, was difficult and annoying from booking through checkout. Upper management should put money into fixing up the rooms and bringing them back to standard. They clearly used to be in better shape, but have been neglected over the years.
