The Peninsula Motor Inn

I stayed here for a while, and the place was terrible. The rooms were old, dated, dirty, and gross. I found an old dirty sock under the bathroom sink, marks in the toilet, spiders, and bedbugs. I was bitten so many times, it was diabolical. The washing machine and dryer were out of order, so keep in mind you can't do laundry if you're staying for a week or so. They advertised a restaurant and other things that they don't have, and there's no room service. The sheets and towels weren't changed, the Wi-Fi was awful, and the air conditioning was terrible. Staff weren't very friendly either. My only advice is to run the other way.

The room wasn't serviced on our second day. It was poor value, and I wouldn't stay again. The motel rooms feel tired and outdated, the air conditioning was noisy and didn't work properly, and the hot water was only lukewarm with a weak flow.

Sue, the manager, was very accommodating. We found the room clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bedding was old but clean, and while the motel itself is very old, the room was well equipped with a microwave, toaster, crockery, and cutlery. I'd read terrible reviews beforehand, but that wasn't our experience.

My young bloke had a good time in the games room, where we got chatting and laughing with some other guests. The place is basic but clean, enough to put your head down and sleep. I'd stay again if I needed to.
