The Studio Yarra Valley

We can’t get away for long because we run a business and look after elderly family, but we often manage a weekend or a midweek break. We’ve tried plenty of places around Victoria, and The Studio in Yarra Valley is just right. Two nights there feels like a whole week away. The view is spectacular, the interior feels luxurious, and the little details are hard to beat, from the homemade bread and jams to the bath items. It’s amazing value, and we’ll be back.

Fresh bread, eggs and other ingredients were waiting for us, and we made some really good breakfasts with them. We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend at the studio. You can see how much thought went into the interior, and the place is a delight to look at. It’s also conveniently close to several wineries and the chocolaterie. I’d recommend it to anyone after a cosy stay in the Yarra valley.

There’s heaps of room at The Studio, with a comfy bed, warm rooms, lovely views and books to read. It was a relaxing stay, but still central to wineries and local attractions, with some great walks nearby. We arrived to warm baked bread, and there were homemade jams, teas and coffees, chocolates, luxurious soap, a bath tea bag, hand wash and sprays from local Yarra Valley producers. It was lovely getting to try those products, and buy them later too. A really lovely place to stay!

This was our second time staying at the Studio, and we’d happily come back again. It was exactly the getaway we wanted. Ann and Ted were great hosts, and the views from their amazing place are breathtaking. We especially liked the little touches, including fresh-baked bread, Yarra Valley chocolates and preserves, and a bath bomb.
