United Places Botanic Gardens

Being right by the Royal Botanic Gardens is a real highlight, and I recommend taking a relaxed walk from there into the city center. This was my second stay at United Places, and it was every bit as good as the first. The whole team was kind, attentive and welcoming, and the room was spacious, quiet and beautifully done in a calming minimalist style. It had everything I needed, and in-room dining made things easy. I did hear the occasional water sound from upstairs. Thanks to everyone for making my Melbourne stay so memorable. I’ll choose United Places first next time too.

The in-unit laundry was a big help since we were in the middle of a long stretch of work travel. We were there as a work group, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Each morning, they brought coffee and a bag of pastries straight to our room. The place is across from the botanical gardens, with lovely walking paths, and the location was wonderful. I’d stay here every time I come to Melbourne.

The staff were wonderful, and the rooms were great. We also appreciated the local cafes and restaurants nearby, along with easy access to the botanical gardens and the MCG. Thanks for helping sort out my delivery. We had a fantastic stay.

The tram made it easy to get into the city center, even though the hotel sits in a leafy, quiet area. Our family of four stayed for three nights and had a really relaxing time. The room was spacious, clean throughout, thoughtfully laid out and furnished with high-quality items. The large window looked out over the Botanic Gardens, which felt like a real luxury. The staff were wonderful with us and always considerate and smiling, even though we aren’t fluent in English. Before we arrived, they replied promptly and kindly to our questions about restaurant bookings, parking and getting to the hotel, so we could set off feeling at ease. They also had breakfast ready in our room for our early departure and arranged a taxi at the time we wanted, with room for our family and four large suitcases. We’d definitely like to visit again.
