The apartment is spacious and well located, but the building’s facilities and service have been frustrating. The concierge said there was no way to book an elevator or arrange parking for our move, though both turned out to be possible. We also weren’t told that access to the recreation floor had to be requested through the concierge, who was often unavailable. Parcels have gone missing more than once, and one was even marked to us incorrectly. At peak times the concierge is often on “break,” which makes collecting parcels difficult. The recycling chute on our floor has been shut for over six months, possibly because someone put the wrong items in it, to the detriment of the other residents.

I’ve lived in this nice building for over two years, but the management problems can make life here feel like hell. For the past month, access cards have failed to let us in, and even the exit door sometimes won’t work. We can wait 10 or 20 minutes for a staff member to arrive and unlock it. The lifts have also regularly stopped working for the last six months. At times all of them have failed, then only one has been brought back into service, leaving 40-50 people trying to get to their floors in a single lift. The rubbish chute is locked most weekdays, and you’re lucky to see it open for more than two days in a week. The body corporate needs to sort out these ongoing problems. I’m sure I’m not the only frustrated resident.

Concierge staff don’t seem to know when people are stuck in the lift until they get out. Please give the concierge team better training.

The building is very poorly managed, though the other facilities are good. Four of the six lifts weren’t working, one was for penthouse residents, and everyone in the apartment was expected to squeeze into the only working one. I walked up more than 20 floors, only to find there was no access from inside to open the fire door and no network.
