The horse race track was a great view from my bedroom, and there are plenty of plazas and cafes/restaurants nearby. Getting here on foot isn't an option, though, as the hotel is only accessible by road and has no footpath. I spent five nights in a deluxe king room. It was already prepared when I arrived early, so check-in was quick, and reception were polite and direct. The room and bathroom were spotless. Housekeeping were relaxed and happy to bring more body wash, towels, or earbuds when I asked. Alm Bistro in the foyer served hot, tasty food, and room service was available for a small fee. The QR codes for online orders often said the site wasn't taking orders. I could still call them on the bedroom landline or order in person, which is what I did. The gym is tiny and short on equipment. The treadmill didn't work, but there is a big car park to run around, so you can make the private space work if you're determined.

If gambling's a problem for you, maybe don't stay here, the temptation is just a doorway away lol. The room was huge, about twice the size of a standard household garage, with loads of storage and long benches. There was still plenty of room for a couch, table and chairs. The bed was large, firm and comfy. The bathroom had a big tub, a separate shower, and even enough space to do yoga. Everything was very clean.

The shopping district was conveniently close, and the staff made me feel welcome. My room was modern and cozy, if a little small. Breakfast was tasty, though I would've liked more variety.

The restaurant was great, and I had a really good stay. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and I got a great night's sleep.
